Known for its distinctive taste and texture, Palakkadan Single Boiled Matta Rice is a type of rice that’s grown in the Palakkad district of Kerala. It’s mainly used to make Appams, Idlis, and Plain Rice. There are two types of this rice: single-boiled matta rice and double-boiled matta rice. Both of them are made from Palakkadan Matta, the only difference between them is the boiling process.
