We here at the Rabbit Mark Modern Rice Mill know the significance of our work. We are committed to providing a good and healthy product in a timely manner. We always keep in mind that our products are meant to nourish people’s lives and serve as sources of energy and strength
PROCESSING
Rice has an outer layer husk and inner layer called bran which must be removed in order to make it edible. The milling process removes the bran layer of the grain, making it easier for humans to digest and absorb nutrients from the remaining portion of the grain. We process the rice to make it polished and edible. Rice is the primary product that is obtained from Paddy after processing.
DRYING OF PADDY
Before any rice variety can be processed, it must first be dried. The raw paddy is procured from the farmers and then brought to the mill to dry them using an automated dryer. The drying process typically takes up to 4-5 hours, depending on the moisture level of the paddy before processing and the desired level of dryness required by the final consumer or purchaser. The percentage of moisture is considered below 15. Our mill is equipped with machines and automated drying systems that control the temperature. They can dry 50 tonnes of Paddy per day. Well equipped with the latest technologies we ensure the paddy is safe from Bacterial infection.
PARBOILING
The rice grain undergoes the Parboiling process in order to remove the husk and bran. The dried paddy is then sent to the hulling section where the husk is removed first. Then the outer cover which is called the bran is removed in 2 stages with the help of a whitener machine.
MILLING
In the final process, the grains then pass through a color image processor called the color sortex machine. Black rice and other foriegn particles are filtered by the machine, and the final product i.e is the rice is then stored in a storage bin.
